Following are mementos from Tom’s life that were displayed at his memorial service in Milwaukee in June 2009.
Tom’s Marine Corps hats, and the urn with his ashes.
Photos of his family and sweetheart dog Silvie.
Tom and Hazel’s “75 Years Young” photo book to remind him what a full life he had, his watch because he always needed to know what time it is, glasses so he can see, military stripes, medals and dog tags so God knows a Marine is coming, pocket knife because you never know when you need to fix or cut something, tie pin and foreign coin.
Rev. Dr. Michael Evans delivered the service.
Life is so much more than just a box of ashes.
